Summer planting
Contrary to popular opinion, summer planting is fine as long as adequate water is provided throughout any prolonged dry periods. This allows you to take advantage of increased summer growth.

Earina mucronata
Dingle Dell Reserve St Heliers late Dec '10. Not the easiest to photograph due to it's location. Think this small clump perched on a Cordyline is on the way out - unsure of other populations within D.D.
