The photo you have i believe is more likely to be a cross between Hebe odora and Hebe Tetragona as i have seen many specimens very similar in both the Ruahine and Tararua ranges.Anyway the specimen of Hectori i have at home looks much different and i will submit a photo of it soon.I have found it relatively easy to grow as long as it has plenty of moisture.
