Summer planting
Contrary to popular opinion, summer planting is fine as long as adequate water is provided throughout any prolonged dry periods. This allows you to take advantage of increased summer growth.
Pittosporum cornifolium Poor Knights

This is a larger and much darker green form of P. cornifolium that can be used as a specimen in the typical garden. Should not be planted where there are natural populations of the mainland form.
