Planting tip
Soak the rootball of your plant in a bucket of water to wet thoroughly prior to planting. For extra goodness, add a bit of liquid fertiliser.

A recently identified native from Kawhia region. Common in Queensland this species appears to have established naturally in NZ. The foliage is aromatic and the flower spike is slender with many small purple flowers.
