Summer planting
Contrary to popular opinion, summer planting is fine as long as adequate water is provided throughout any prolonged dry periods. This allows you to take advantage of increased summer growth.
Gunnera densiflora
Height: 0.04m;  Spread: 0.5m
Herb
A species of montane lake margins and stream sides. A compact light green groundcover that grows quickly. Rarely available. Good for edges of ponds with dappled light. Quite attractive.
