Summer planting
Contrary to popular opinion, summer planting is fine as long as adequate water is provided throughout any prolonged dry periods. This allows you to take advantage of increased summer growth.

Hebe recurva has been reclassified as Hebe albicans but it is so very different that we are maintaining this old name until the situation is clarified. Of course the plant is none the worse for the botanical tug of war and is a neat plant.
