Summer planting
Contrary to popular opinion, summer planting is fine as long as adequate water is provided throughout any prolonged dry periods. This allows you to take advantage of increased summer growth.

Tall open flowering spike. Broad Toetoe-like foliage. Sun or light shade and dry to moist soils. Only 2 populations are known within the Waitakere Ranges. This is from a gorge inland from Whatipu.
