Summer planting
Contrary to popular opinion, summer planting is fine as long as adequate water is provided throughout any prolonged dry periods. This allows you to take advantage of increased summer growth.

Kermadec Tree Fern (Tree Fern)
A tropical looking tree fern from the Kermadec Islands. While it is hardy, it looks best in a sheltered site where it can be seen to best advantage, such as on the edge of bush.
