Planting tip
Soak the rootball of your plant in a bucket of water to wet thoroughly prior to planting. For extra goodness, add a bit of liquid fertiliser.

Sedge & Rush-like
This is a rare species that is specific to the Kermadec islands. The leaves are lush green, arching not as cutty as C. ustulatus, and the flower head is brown rather than black. A collectors plant not advised for mainland wetlands.
