Summer planting
Contrary to popular opinion, summer planting is fine as long as adequate water is provided throughout any prolonged dry periods. This allows you to take advantage of increased summer growth.

Summer perching orchid (Orchid)
An epiphytic orchid growing on tree branches and trunks. Similar to Earina mucronata but the shorter leaves are three veined & channelled and it flowers in mid to late summer.
