Planting tip
Soak the rootball of your plant in a bucket of water to wet thoroughly prior to planting. For extra goodness, add a bit of liquid fertiliser.

Once considered extinct this Hebe has recovered dramatically since goats were removed from the Kermadec Islands where it grows on cliffs under the light shade of Pohutukawa and Ngaio trees.
