Summer planting
Contrary to popular opinion, summer planting is fine as long as adequate water is provided throughout any prolonged dry periods. This allows you to take advantage of increased summer growth.
Hebe epacridea
Height: 0.3m;  Spread: 0.5m
Shrub
An amazing symmetrical species emphasizing the diversity of Hebes in New Zealand. The highest growing plant in the Mt Cook National Park (c.2900 asl) is also rather hard to grow in warmer climates and is only occasionally available.
