Summer planting
Contrary to popular opinion, summer planting is fine as long as adequate water is provided throughout any prolonged dry periods. This allows you to take advantage of increased summer growth.

Great Barrier Hebe (Shrub)
Named for the Ngati rehua iwi, this form of Hebe pubescens is endemic to Great Barrier Island in the Hauraki Gulf. Flower inflorescences are mauve & upto 10 cm long.
