Summer planting
Contrary to popular opinion, summer planting is fine as long as adequate water is provided throughout any prolonged dry periods. This allows you to take advantage of increased summer growth.

Whipcord Hebe (Shrub)
Ascending rather than spreading Hebe form Marlborough mountain tussock land.. Green to yellowish-green whipcord leaves. Flowers white to pale lilac. (November - February). Often grows in boggy sites.
