Summer planting
Contrary to popular opinion, summer planting is fine as long as adequate water is provided throughout any prolonged dry periods. This allows you to take advantage of increased summer growth.

Thosand leaved fern (Fern)
In northern part of range confined to montane - alpine areas. Hypolepis millefolium is a common fern of grassland and rock strewn slopes. It also extends into scrub and forest.
