Growing tips:
On 16/12/2014, Martin Nicholls said:
Very easily grown but should be regarded as short-lived. Self-sows freely. Thin and transplant to permanent sites where plants have room to grow. Perfect drainage is essential. Seed is edible and a rich source of beta linoleic acid (one of the omega group of essential fatty acids). It has the longest and strongest fibers of any of the Linum species and has potential in the textile industry.
