Summer planting
Contrary to popular opinion, summer planting is fine as long as adequate water is provided throughout any prolonged dry periods. This allows you to take advantage of increased summer growth.

Manoao, Silver Pine (Tree)
A slow growing tree that has a conical form for many years. Prefers acidic soils, and shady conditions.Endemic. North and South Islands. Uncommon in the North Island being found mainly around the mountains of the Central Volcanic Plateau
