Summer planting
Contrary to popular opinion, summer planting is fine as long as adequate water is provided throughout any prolonged dry periods. This allows you to take advantage of increased summer growth.

Shrub
A shrub with more twigs than leaves which are brownish green and small. This is in limited supply as it is difficult to keep alive.

i planted mine in a south facing , shady compost enrichened situation and in a year it has grown around half a metre. I live in upper hutt and i think our frosty less humid climate suits it.
