Summer planting
Contrary to popular opinion, summer planting is fine as long as adequate water is provided throughout any prolonged dry periods. This allows you to take advantage of increased summer growth.

Shrub
This is a variety that is sourced from the Cobb Valley. In cultivation it grows densely divaricating and probably smaller than the typical O. virgata. Easy in warmer places.
