Summer planting
Contrary to popular opinion, summer planting is fine as long as adequate water is provided throughout any prolonged dry periods. This allows you to take advantage of increased summer growth.

Height: 0.3m;  Spread: 0.4m
Herb
A rare species from the Kermadec Islands. Larger than other native species. Light green leaves 2x 3 cm, with flower spikes up to 5 cm long. Fast growing and easy but rather cold sensitive. Very tropical and attractive.

Flowering on Raoul
Peperomia species are great houseplants. Found on shady coastal rock faces, they adapt well to life indoors and their slow growth habit means they usually last a long time before outgrowing their containers.
