Growing tips: On 16/12/2014, Martin Nicholls said:
This is now critically endangered and should be grown much more in parks and gardens to help save the species (and the endemic moth that lives exclusively on it). Grow in well-drained sandy (but constantly moist) soils until it is fully established. One of the few native plants whose leaves are covered in silvery villous hairs. One of the neatest and showiest of the native pimeleas.
