Summer planting
Contrary to popular opinion, summer planting is fine as long as adequate water is provided throughout any prolonged dry periods. This allows you to take advantage of increased summer growth.
Poa chathamica
Height: 0.5m;  Spread: 0.5m
Grass
The rhizomes of the grass enable it to inhabit active sand dunes. It is threatened by habitat modification, stock grazing and competition from introduced plants such as marram grass.
