This is similar to C. rubra apart from the flowers. However it does grow very well in warmer climates and does do well in the wet. Wispy light brown leaves forming dense clumps with delicate flower heads amongst the top of the foliage.
A cultivar between Clematis paniculata and C. forsterii. It is a hardier plant for normal garden conditions but retains the large flower of C.paniculata
White with a tint of green the flowers are also scented. The plant scrambles or climbs with support to over a metre. It prfers good moist soil or quality potting mix.
