Summer planting
Contrary to popular opinion, summer planting is fine as long as adequate water is provided throughout any prolonged dry periods. This allows you to take advantage of increased summer growth.

found around whangarei area. Is this Alseuosmia? Reply: NO, No, No This is a bad weed called Queen of the night. Cestrum nocturnum. Yes it has an equally amazing scent as Alseuosmia but it is a tropical plant that is a pest in New Zealand. Please do not plant it as every flower develops into seeds which are spread by birds.
