Growing tips:

Finding this plant in the wild is the culmination of my lifes work growing native plants. The site is a low-lying forest north of Auckland in association with other cold loving plants. In the nursery it has performed best in a brightly lit area with just light shade. Provide it with fertiliser and a layer of loose grit, pumice or scoria to creep through.
